I am all about trying new things. I starting tinkering with my camera around the fire pit last night and end up with some amazing light paintings. I think I might arm both the kids with lightsabers tonight and see what we get. It's amazing what you can do when you just tinker about instead of TRYING. Accidental photos are the best I think.

So I finally can afford it

But then I don't actually post the stuff I take with it. What's up with that? I'm a slacker. That's what. So yeah two years after I whine that I can't have the digital camera of my dreams I get one and then I never post the pretties I take with it. So sad. I've taken lots with it since I bought it back in March. I've barely tweaked any and haven't posted a darn one of them. Gots to get on that.
For all of those who have added my Photoshop brushes to your favorites while I've been missing in action, thank you! You rock. Glad you like them and I hope you get some use out of them.

Gah I want more than I can afford

Don't you just hate it when you want something you just can't afford? I do. Andy and I are planning on buying a new (to us - aka used) car within the next few weeks. Both of us want vehicles that never seem to be in our price range. He wants to spoil me and let me get what I want even though we both know that it isn't fair since I picked out the van when he really really wanted a truck.
Top it off with the major desire to own a digital camera that doesn't freaking lag when I'm trying to take pictures of the kids at church playing basketball and cheerleading. Okay I want it to indulge in my latest love for photography but still the other reas
